Rhinoplasty for men
Male Rhinoplasty in Istanbul
A balanced, masculine result – and better breathing. Every male rhinoplasty is planned around the strength and proportions of your face.

What is male rhinoplasty?
Male rhinoplasty is nose surgery planned specifically for the male face. The techniques are the same as in any rhinoplasty, but the aesthetic goals are different: most men want a straighter, more balanced nose that still looks strong and natural – never smaller or softer than their face can carry.
How a man’s nose is different
- A stronger, straighter bridge is usually desirable – a deep “scooped” profile can look feminine on a man
- The tip is typically less rotated upwards than in women
- Skin is often thicker, which affects how much definition is possible
- Many men also have breathing problems, often after a sports injury or a broken nose
Common goals for men
- Removing a hump while keeping a strong, straight profile
- Straightening a crooked nose after an injury
- Refining a wide or bulbous tip without making it look delicate
- Correcting a deviated septum and improving breathing in the same operation
Avoiding an “operated” look
The most common concern we hear from men is that they do not want to look operated. Dr. Koç plans changes that are in proportion to your forehead, cheekbones and chin, and she preserves the natural character of your nose. When the bony bridge needs work, modern tools such as piezo rhinoplasty allow precise shaping.
Recovery for men
You stay one night in hospital, and the splint is usually removed after about a week. Most men return to office work after one to two weeks. Avoid contact sports and heavy training for about six weeks, and do not rest glasses on the bridge until Dr. Koç says so. Read more in our recovery guide.
FAQ
Male rhinoplasty questions
Will my nose look feminine after surgery?
No – that is exactly what a male rhinoplasty plan avoids. The aim is a straighter, balanced nose that keeps a masculine character.
Can my breathing be improved at the same time?
Yes. A deviated septum or enlarged turbinates are usually corrected in the same operation. See functional rhinoplasty.
When can I go back to the gym?
Light walking is fine early on; heavy training and contact sports should wait about six weeks.
How much does male rhinoplasty cost?
Prices start from $1,900 for straightforward primary cases. Your personal price is confirmed after the free online assessment.
